The Patriots have agreed to deals with defensive lineman John Simon and running back Brandon Bolden.
Simon is a six-year veteran who has played for four different teams in his career. He joined the Patriots last season after being released by the Colts. He won a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens as a rookie in 2013 and has 15 career sacks.
Bolden returns to the Patriots after one season with the Miami Dolphins. He previously spent six seasons with New England. He not only provides good running back depth for the team, but also an ace special teams player.
