Pro-Bowl cornerback Patrick Peterson has been suspended for the first six games of the 2019 NFL season for violating the league’s PED policy. The suspension was first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Peterson, 28, is an eight-year veteran and has made the Pro Bowl in each of his first eight seasons. Following the 2015 season, he helped the Cardinals reach the NFC Championship Game.
With the Cardinals, he has been a great corner who has totaled 23 interceptions and 76 passes defended in his career.
He will be able to return to the Cardinals on October 20 against the New York Giants. Peterson will lose nearly $4 million as a result of the suspension according to Schefter.
