The Green Bay Packers have announced that former Titans’ offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur will be their next head coach as first reported by ESPN.
Packers are zeroing in on hiring Titans' OC Matt LaFleur as their HC, sources tell @RobDemovsky and me . Packers have begun notifying other HC candidates that they've interviewed that they're out and the team has made its choice.

Tennessee’s offense only averaged 19.4 points per game this season under LaFleur. He was the offensive coordinators for the Los Angeles Rams in 2017 and was given some of the credit for creating a dynamic offensive attack. Besides the Rams and the Titans, LaFleur has had stops in Houston, Washington and Atlanta.
LaFleur will take over for Mike McCarthy who had a 125-77-2 record with the team and won a Super Bowl.
His main task will be developing a relationship with Aaron Rodgers, but will also have to help fix the Packers’ defense which allowed 25 points per game.
