Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson has decided to forego his remaining college eligibility and enter his name in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Anderson released a statement on his Twitter account Thursday:
After a great sophomore season where he rushed for 1,161 yards and 13 touchdowns, Anderson got hurt in the Sooner’s second game against UCLA. He was lost for the season with a knee injury. He has the ability to run between the tackles and catch passes, making him valuable in the NFL.
Anderson was regarded as a first to third round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft before his injury, but now will have his knee looked at by NFL team doctors, which could change his draft stock.
