The NFL season is full of surprises, which makes it hard to pick winners. Cecil Walker and Joe DiTullio, of The Third and the Don Football Show, will do their best to try to predict the winners for every NFL game this season. Here are the NFL week 15 picks.

Thursday night: Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs
Joe- While the Chargers are a good team and a threat to win the Super Bowl, playing on a short week on the road will hold them back. Kansas City will be loud and the Chiefs will want to put their foot down in the division.- Chiefs
Cecil- Arrowhead Stadium is a tough place for anyone to play in. The Chargers are down to their third-string running back and even if Melvin Gordon plays he won’t be close to 100%. Phillip Rivers will keep it close.-Chiefs
Sunday: Houston Texans at New York Jets
Joe- The Jets did beat the Bills and the Texans win streak was snapped, but this is too tall a task for the Jets. J.J. Watt will make Sam Darnold look bad and Houston will win the game.- Texans
Cecil-The Texans are by far the better team here, with talent on both sides of the ball. Meanwhile, there isn’t a star on this Jets team.- Texans
Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos
Joe- Cleveland still have playoff hopes! The Broncos will win this week though in the altitude and their pass rush.- Broncos
Cecil- Playing in Denver is tough, but losing Chris Harris will hurt the defense severely. Baker Mayfield may struggle in the altitude, but should do enough to escape with a win.- Browns
Arizona Cardinals at Atlanta Falcons
Joe- The Cardinals are not a great football team and would be better off tanking. Atlanta is good on offense and that will be good enough to win at home.- Falcons
Cecil- Atlanta still has a high-powered offense and while the Cardinals have a good pass defense, it is not good enough to keep up.- Falcons
Detroit Lions at Buffalo Bills
Joe- Two bad teams will square off in this one. The Lions at least have a franchise quarterback, which should be able to get them the win in Buffalo. Matt Patricia is also familiar with the Bills.- Lions
Cecil- The Bills always play well late in the season, in this weather at home. Detroit is struggling on offense as is and the cold weather won’t help- Bills
Aaron Rodgers (Photo by Packersnews.com)
Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears
Joe- Green Bay looked better without Mike McCarthy, but there is no magic pill to fix their defense. The Bears’ defense is playing great after shutting down the Rams.- Bears
Cecil- Upset pick. Chicago is playing great as of late. However, this is a rivalry game. With the Bears coming off a big win, Aaron Rodgers will play well. Even if it isn’t enough to win the game, it will be close.
Oakland Raiders at Cincinnati Bengals
Joe- The Bengals played better than expected against the Chargers, but still lost. Oakland just beat the Steelers and have a great opportunity to pick up another win.- Raiders
Cecil- The Raiders are not a good team by any means, but they are playing well as of late. Derek Carr has been particularly impressive. Since they are playing a terrible defense, they should be able to keep the win streak going in the right direction.- Raiders
Dallas Cowboys at Indianapolis Colts
Joe- This is one of the better matchups of the weekend. The Cowboys’ defense will have their hands full with Andrew Luck. Indianapolis needs to keep winning to make the playoffs and will bring it on Saturday.- Colts
Cecil- The Colts’ biggest weakness is always the run defense and that is the Cowboys’ speciality. Expect Andrew Luck to keep it close, but it won’t be enough against a good Dallas defense.- Cowboys
Miami Dolphins at Minnesota Vikings
Joe- Miami had a miraculous win against New England, but traveling to Minnesota will be too tough. Even though the Vikings lost their offensive coordinator, a change could improve things.- Vikings
Cecil- Minnesota’s offense has been anemic as of late, but they should still be able to take care of this Dolphins’ team, barring any late-game hijinx.- Vikings
Tennessee Titans at New York Giants
Joe- The Titans need to keep winning to make the playoffs. New York has looked better, but if Tennessee can run the ball as they did against the Jaguars, they’ll win the game.- Titans
Cecil- Saquon Barkley has been on absolute fire. He is the key to the Giants’ success and that will continue against a middle of the road Titans’ team.- Giants
Washington Redskins at Jacksonville Jaguars
Joe- Both of these teams are free falling and are rolling with backup quarterbacks. Jacksonville should be able to take advantage of Josh Johnson starting against them.- Jaguars
Cecil- The Reskins have been decimated by injuries. It is hard to imagine them to be competitive against anyone. Look for the Jaguars to focus on stopping Adrian Peterson and making Josh Johnson beat them.- Jaguars
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Baltimore Ravens
Joe- Baltimore played Kansas City tough. Their defense can keep them in any game. This week they will force Jameis Winston into a few turnovers and Lamar Jackson will be the difference.- Ravens
Cecil- Tampa Bay is playing well lately, but not good enough to beat one of the best defenses in the NFL. Lamar Jackson and Gus Edwards will wear down their defense.- Ravens
Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers
Joe- The Seahawks are playing so well right now that not many teams would beat them. San Francisco is better off losing out at this point.- Seahawks
Cecil- Seattle is in the thick of the wild-card hunt. Look for them to get one step closer to the playoffs, as they play a very injured 49ers’ squad.- Cecil

New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers
Joe- Pittsburgh is playing some of the worst football they have played in the 21st century. They should bounce back, but with the Patriots coming to town it is too tall of an order.- Patriots
Cecil- The Steelers looked bad against the Raiders. Bill Belichick has had their number and more should be expected in this game.- Patriots
Philadelphia Eagles at Los Angeles Rams
Joe- Philadelphia may be the reigning Super Bowl champs, but they sure aren’t playing like it. The Rams hit a bump in the road against the Bears, but still have a great all-around team.- Rams
Cecil- The Rams will absolutely destroy the Eagles and their lack of a secondary.- Rams
Monday night: New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers
Joe- How low can the Panthers go? After starting the season well, they are now in danger of not making the playoffs. They won’t get any rest this week with the Saints coming to town still vying for the top seed in the NFC. -Saints
Cecil- Cam Newton has looked awful since his shoulder injury. Nothing different should be expected against one of the best teams in the NFL.- Saints
