Marquise Brown out for NFL Combine With LisFranc Injury

Wide receiver Marquise Brown will not be able to participate in the 2019 NFL Combine with a LisFranc injury according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Oklahoma product underwent surgery for his injury, which is in his foot, last month and will also miss his pro day. Brown had the injury during the Big 12 Championship against Texas, but tried to play through it against Alabama in the College Football Playoff.

Brown is a projected first-round pick in the NFL Draft after two stellar years at Oklahoma. He had 132 receptions for 2,413 yards and 17 touchdowns over his two seasons in Norman. His play helped lead Oklahoma to two College Football Playoff games.
