The Los Angeles Clippers will sign free agent wing Rodney McGruder to a three-year, $15 million deal as first reported by Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes.
McGruder has spent his three NBA seasons in Miami with the Heat. Last season, the 27-year-old averaged 7.6 points per game and shot 35.1 percent from deep.
The Clippers will use McGruder as a bench scorer who can stretch the floor. He should provide the Clippers with a few different options off the bench, as they still have a great sixth man in Lou Williams.
