
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs has passed away at the age of 27. The team released a statement on Monday confirming the news.
There have been no details released about how Skaggs passed away. The game tonight against the Rangers has been canceled.
Skaggs, 27, pitched in the big leagues for seven seasons. He spent two seasons with the Diamondbacks and the remainder of his career with the Angels. Skaggs had a career 28-38 record with a 4.41 ERA.
