Former Rams safety Lamarcus Joyner is set to join the Oakland Raiders according to multiple reports. Joyner will receive a four-year deal worth $41 million.
Joyner spent the first five seasons of his career with the Rams, both in L.A. and St. Louis. Last season, he helped the Rams get to the Super Bowl. He has 305 total tackles, 25 passes defended and four interceptions in his career.
The Raiders were tasked with fixing one of the NFL’s worst defenses from last season. Joyner will help hold down the backend of the defense, while the re-signing of Jonathan Hankins will help up front.
