Simmons is one of the many talented defensive tackles in this draft class. The injury will likely hurt his draft stock, as Simmons already wasn’t invited to the 2019 NFL Combine due to a physical altercation with a woman in 2016.
In his career at Mississippi State, Simmons had 163 total tackles, 33 tackles for loss, seven sacks, seven passes defended, two fumble recoveries, five fumbles forced and one touchdown scored.
