Veteran free agent Jared Dudley has accepted a one-year, $2.6 million deal from the Los Angeles Lakers according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Dudley, 33, is a 12-year veteran who has spent time with six different teams. He averaged 4.8 points last season and shot 35.1 percent from deep.
The Lakers needed to get more cheap players to fill out their roster and found a veteran in Dudley. He will stretch the floor for Los Angeles and still allow them to pursue Kawhi Leonard in free agency.
