McCaffery reportedly had some words for one of the referees after Iowa’s 90-70 loss to the Buckeyes. Kyle Rowland, of the Toledo Blade, detailed exactly what was said to the official on Twitter (NSFW).
Rowland also detailed that Iowa was punished by the Big Ten as well.
Iowa coach Fran McCaffery is suspended two games for his outburst following the Ohio State game. University of Iowa fined $10,000 by the Big Ten, which also issued a public reprimand of McCaffery.

Iowa has three games left in the regular season, with McCaffery being able to return for the regular season finale against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Lincoln. He will miss Iowa’s home game against Rutgers and their road contest with Wisconsin.
