Barnes was traded from the Mavericks to the Kings this season. Before those two teams, Barnes was a member of the Golden State Warriors and helped the team win a championship.
The 27-year-old forward averaged 16.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game last season.
While they just missed the playoffs last season, another year with Barnes, De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield could turn into a playoff berth for the Kings.
