The Bucks and veteran point guard George Hill have reached a deal to keep him in Milwaukee. According the Shams Charania of The Athletic, Hill will agree to a three-year, $29 million deal.
Hill was a veteran-leader for the Bucks after he was traded from the Cavaliers during last season. For the Bucks, Hill averaged 6.8 points per game. The 33-year-old has played for the Spurs, Pacers, Jazz, Kings, Cavaliers and Bucks in his career.
Re-signing Hill to a deal became increasingly important after the Bucks traded away Malcolm Brogden to the Pacers earlier on Sunday evening. If they lost Hill as well, the Bucks would be very thin at the point guard position.
