Kaminsky, 26, was drafted ninth overall in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets. He spent the first four years of his career in Charlotte. The big man averaged 9.8 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in his four seasons as a Hornet.
The Suns already addressed their need at point guard this free agency period by agreeing to a deal with Ricky Rubio. Now they bolstered their frontcourt with the addition of Kaminsky.
