Former Patriots cornerback Eric Rowe has agreed to a deal with the Miami Dolphins according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The contract will be for one year and $3.5 million.
Rowe, 26, spent his rookie season with the Eagles before spending the last three seasons in New England, winning two Super Bowls with the Patriots. He has 16 passes defended and two interceptions in his career.
The Dolphins signing Rowe means that he will reunite with his former defensive coordinator, who is now the head coach in Miami. They will hope that Rowe will help the Dolphins do better against the pass, as they ranked 23rd last season.
