Dwight Howard has been traded from the Washington Wizards to the Memphis Grizzlies for C.J. Miles. The full details of the trade were first reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Per Wojnarowski, the Grizzlies will waive or trade Howard. Howard, 33, only played nine games last season, but averaged 12.8 points and 9.2 rebounds for the Wizards.
C.J. Miles, 32, averaged 6.2 points and shot 33 percent from deep last season for the Grizzlies. He will provide the Wizards with outside shooting to space the floor.
