The Detroit Pistons have reached a deal with free agent forward Markieff Morris according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Morris, 29, is an eight-year veteran who has played for the Suns, Wizards and Thunder. He averaged 9.4 points per game last season with the Wizards and Thunder.
Detroit will likely use Morris as a backup behind Blake Griffin. He can provide the second-unit with a scoring punch.
No details about the contract have been released yet.
