Vanderbilt point guard Darius Garland has declared for the 2019 NBA Draft he posted on social media on Tuesday.

Garland suffered a meniscus injury in Vanderbilt’s game against Kent State. He had surgery and as a result, was ruled out for the rest of the season.
The freshman guard averaged 16.2 points, 2.6 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game in five games played for the Commodores this season before getting injured.
Garland was rated as the top point guard in the 2018 recruiting class according to ESPN and is a projected lottery-pick for the 2019 NBA Draft.
