The Dallas Mavericks will re-sign free agent big man Dorian Finney-Smith to a three-year, $12 million contract as first reported by The Athletic’s Sham Charania.
Free agent Dorian Finney-Smith has agreed to a three-year, $12M deal to re-sign with the Dallas Mavericks, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

Finney-Smith, 26, averaged 7.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in 24.5 minutes per game last season. He has spent all three years in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks.
Dallas has lost Dirk Nowitzki to retirement and keeping Finney-Smith will help their frontcourt, as he’ll provide good depth. He also can start if asked, as he started 26 games last season.
