The Chargers have addressed a huge need with this agreement, as last season they had several injuries on the defensive side of the ball. Getting Davis to provide depth for the defense will help the Chargers on their quest for a Super Bowl.
Davis, 35, has played for the Panthers for his whole career, which dates back to the 2005 season. He has 1,111 total tackles in his career, has made three Pro Bowls and has been an All-Pro once.
