The Browns could have two big names to add to their roster as they acquired both Odell Beckham Jr. and are negotiating with Earl Thomas.
Cleveland made a trade with the Giants, giving up a first-round pick, a third-round pick and Jabrill Peppers for Beckham Jr. Beckham Jr. is one of the best young players in the league with 390 receptions, 5,476 receiving yards and 44 touchdowns.
Baker Mayfield will now have a lot of targets to utilize in Jarvis Landry, David Njoku and Beckham Jr. The offense has the potential to be dynamic with the addition of Beckham Jr.
Peppers showed promise in his first two seasons in the league and will now help the Giants in their secondary after they lost Landon Collins. The two draft picks will help them build their team around running back Saquon Barkley.
In another news on Tuesday night, the Browns are near to signing Earl Thomas to a three-year deal.
Browns feeling good about the chances to land Earl Thomas. Not sitting back at all. Then stack depth by taking best player available through the draft and get used yo hosting prime time games again. It's on in The Land

Thomas, 29, has spent his entire career with the Seattle Seahawks, winning one Super Bowl and making six Pro Bowls. He has 684 total tackles, 67 passes defended and 27 interceptions in his career as one of the game’s great safeties.
The Browns will use Thomas to replace Peppers, who was part of the trade to the Giants for Beckham Jr. Cleveland has vastly improved their defense with the additions of Olivier Vernon and Sheldon Richardson already this offseason.
Both acquisitions position the Browns to make a run at the AFC North championship and the playoffs.
