Theis is a 27-year-old center who has spent both years in the NBA with the Celtics. He averaged 5.7 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
The Celtics have agreed to deals with Enes Kanter, Vincent Poirier and now Theis to give them frontcourt depth.
