Adrian Peterson will return to the Washington Redskins after reaching a two-year deal worth $8 million according to multiple reports.
Peterson is a 12-year veteran, who spent last season with the Redskins, but also has spent time with the Vikings, Saints and Cardinals. He has rushed for 13,318 yards in his career, which ranks sixth all-time.
He was signed last year after rookie Derrius Guice got injured and now will be in the same backfield as Guice.
