Epic Games has officially announced a crossover between Fortnite X Coachella. Beginning this weekend following into the next, a new set of Coachella-themed items will be dropping into the Item Shop. Starting today players can tune into Icon Radio while in-game in a vehicle to listen to songs from the selection of artists that are featured in Coachella 2022.
The first set of Fortnite X Coachella items is scheduled to arrive in the Fortnite Item Shop at 8 PM ET on April 14. Within the first set are the outfits Wilder and Lyric along with their matching accessories. The Wilder Outfit includes the Neon Biter Pickaxe, a shark-based Back Bling called Finfin, and the Finfin Flair Wrap, along with the outfit’s Cosmic Equalizer alternative style, which is reactive to music. The Lyric outfit comes with a cactus-styled Back Bling called Swaguaro, and the electric Festival Shredder Pickaxe. Both the outfit and the pickaxe are reactive to music. The outfit will also include the alternative style Cosmic Equalizer. The Wilder Outfit and the Lyric Outfit along with their respective accessories and pickaxes can all be purchased individually or together in the Rocking at Coachella Bundle.
The second set of Fortnite X Coachella items is set to release on Thursday, April 21, at 8 PM ET. The second wave includes the Alto Outfit and its pairing accessories the Sonic Vibes reactive Back Bling and the tropical Softest Electropalm Pickaxe. Included in the second drop is also The Poet Outfit including the Cosmonautic Helmet Back Bling, the Cactical Crusher Pickaxe, and the Mainstage Wrap. Same as the first wave these outfits along with their respective cosmetics can be bought separately or purchased all together in the “Dancing at Coachella” bundle which also comes with the “Enter the Coachellaverse” Loading Screen.
