Fortnite V21.30 Patch Notes

Fortnite is gearing up for the start of its summer vacation celebration. Before festivities can begin, the Fortnite  v21.30 patch notes have officially been released. This new update brings players a new weapon, new cosmetic options, and more.

Prime Shotgun 
With the newest update comes the new Prime Shotgun. Players deal much more damage with the first shot from this weapon. The remaining three shots offer consistent damage but will not be as powerful as the initial shot. The Prime Shotgun can be found on the ground, chests, supply drops, Reality Saplings, fishing, and even sharks.

Super Level Styles

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 battle pass outfits have finally received their super level styles Players now have the option to select between three choices. the Platinum Rift, Lapis Slurp, and Auric Blaze Styles. These styles are only applicable to the character skins Malik, Evie, Adira, Sabina, and Stormfarer.

Competitive Patch Notes

Although the Prime Shotgun is included in regular battle royale it will not be included in competitive playlists. Arena Zero Build now has the Overshield Siphon. Eliminating a player will grant a full 50-Health Overshield immediately.

Bug Fixes

• Rift-To-Gos generating no Rift but still being consumed. This was caused by swapping items too soon while activating the Rift-To-Go.
•  Weapon crosshairs to scale with HUD size.
• Players were restricted from using Tents in the team rumble game mode.
• Nintendo Switch players would freeze after sliding or mantling.
• Storm Sickness would reset when rebooting a teammate in competitive mode.
•  Player’s audio settings to reset to 0.
• The player’s settings would not save correctly upon adjustments
