Fortnite is bringing more big map changes in the upcoming season. Epic Games recently confirmed that the new season of Fortnite will be released on June 9. If Fortnite’s latest addition follows the launch pattern of the previous season, expect the release time to be around 7 AM ET.
The latest teasers have confirmed that the name of the new season is “WILDS”. These trailers have also hinted at some sizable changes to the map. The second teaser began by showing a massive earthquake. The majority of the map then fell into what looked like a massive sinkhole.
At the center of this new jungle biome, a single temple appeared. This is the only building that is visible in the new trailers.
Some of the new skins have also been shared by Fortnite on Twitter. Lorenzo, Rian, Trace and Era are four of the new skins that will be available to players in the Battle Pass. Optimus Prime is also confirmed to be the Tier 100 Outfit in the upcoming Battle Pass.
The big map changes that Fortnite is bringing will surely shake up the way that players play the game. A new POI will introduce uncertainty that will strengthen competition.
