FNCS Invitational 2022 Announced

After dealing with the complications caused by the recent pandemic Fortnite in-person events are now making a swift return. More specifically the FNCS Invitational 2022 is making a comeback in person.

Due to the due to the COVID-19 pandemic Epic Games have been struggling to put together any in-person events. It was announced on May 29 that on November 12 those in-person events would make a reappearance. Epic Games stated that the FNCS Invitational 2022, which will take place on November 12 and 13 in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. Epic games reminded players that their health and safety are the number one priority for holding any in-person event. This will be for the FNCS Invitational and any future in-person events to be held. If any public health trends change, or regional laws or recommendations shift at any time within this current or upcoming year, Epic Games will be rescheduling or changing any plan made.

Epic Games will be inviting a selection of top FNCS Duos from around the world who will have the opportunity to compete in a single lobby for a share of a $1,000,000 prize pool. Additional details on the FNCS Invitational 2022 will be released in the coming months.

Prior to FNCS Invitational 2022 Epic Games ask that those expecting to participate make sure that any required travel documentation is secured well ahead of time. This includes essential items such as passports, visas, other government-issued identification, vaccination cards, etc. It is also important for invitees to check their own country’s guidelines for international travel and the USA’s travel requirements for non-U.S. citizens.

With the re-introduction of in-person events, it expected Fortnite’s viewership and audience to rise up as it once did before the pandemic.
