Players to Target in ESPN Fantasy Drafts

Publish Date: August 29, 2025

Fantasy football drafts are going on across the country across a lot of different platforms. Every platform has different rankings, which makes drafts go differently. There is value to be had on different platforms. Here are players to target in ESPN fantasy drafts.

Note: Rankings will be for standard drafts. These players can also be taken in PPR formats with value.

Asthon Jeanty, RB, Las Vegas Raiders

Ashton Jeanty is ranked 12th overall in ESPN mock draft lobbies. While he may be a rookie, he rushed for 2,601 yards last season at Boise State and showed up even when the Broncos played power conference competition.

In the 2025 NFL Draft, Jeanty was selected by the Las Vegas Raiders. Pete Carroll is the new head coach and he has always had an emphasis on running the football. The offensive line actually played decently last season and improvements were made. The Raiders will also be able to pass the ball better than last season with Geno Smith at quarterback, keeping the defense honest. Upgrading the running back should significantly upgrade the rushing offense and Jeanty can have a huge rookie season.

Kyren Williams, RB, Los Angeles Rams

Although many expected a dropoff or more carries to go to other running backs, Williams ranked as the sixth-ranked running back in 2024. The Rams rewarded him with a long term contract this offseason, reaffirming their belief in himg.

He is ranked as the no. 22 overall player in ESPN mock draft. Williams outperformed that last season and should be able to do the same this season. The offensive line is set and Davante Adams was brought in, which should open up the offense even more for Williams to thrive.

Kenneth Walker, RB, Seattle Seahawks

Walker ranked 12th in points per game for running backs in 2024. He did miss some time with injury, but for the most he has been able to play in at least 15 games per season for his career. If he can post the same averages, and stay healthy, Walker could be a steal at his current value.

On ESPN, he is ranked as the 44th player. If he provides top 12 running back numbers again, he will vastly outplay his value. The offense may take a step back with Geno Smith out and Sam Darnold in at quarterback, but that also means the Seahawks are primed to lean on the running game more, which should help Walker.

Calvin Ridley, WR, Tennessee Titans

Ridley was the 28th-ranked receiver in 2024. The offense was bad for a variety of reasons, but it should be decently improved in 2025. The Titans upgraded their offensive line and drafted Cam Ward at No. 1 overall.

In ESPN Drafts, Ridley is the 51st-ranked player. He averaged 11.7 fantasy points per game and with more consistent quarterback play, that number should be on the way up. If he can average just three more fantasy points per game, and play the same number of games, he should rank as a top 20 receiver.

Tyrone Tracy, RB, New York Giants

Tracy ranked as the 26th-ranked running back last season and that was with getting limited work to start the year. He averaged 10.7 points per game in the season, but that number was 13.1 over the last 13 games of the season. That would have made him a top 20 running back and even higher if he played all 17 games.

He ranked 80th in ESPN’s mock draft lobby. While the Giants drafted Cam Skattebo, Tracy should get more of the work early in the season. If the offense improves with Russell Wilson or Jaxson Dart under center, it will benefit Tracy as well. His pass-catching adds another level to his game that should help him have a better season in year two than he did as a rookie in 2024.
