The 2025-26 NFL season has been outstanding so far. Already there have been a ton of breakout players and fantasy duds that have made the game so entertaining. Bye weeks are officially over. This means that playoffs have likely began in your fantasy leagues. During the playoffs Fantasy Managers will have full utilization of their roster and need to make sure they have backup options on their roster incase their stars get hurt. There have plenty of injuries this season to crucial players that make the pool of players to choose from on waivers that much thinner. It’s always a great idea to evaluate backup options so that way fantasy managers are prepared if star players miss time. Here are the fantasy football week 15 quarterback rankings.
[Ratings are subject to change due to injury reports or possible move to Injured Reserve List]
[Check out the section below for details on players already rumored to possibly miss this week and how their replacement options rank for the week]
Must Start- a player who should definitely be in your lineup that week because of the combination of matchup and talent. They will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and could repeat the production most weeks.
Starter- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a high floor.
Low-End Starter- a player who should be started in most lineups but can possibly bottom out and finish below average on a given week. A high ceiling play in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Streamer- a player who could be a perfect replacement for a starter for a week or two. Starting this player may not win you your lineup but they will make sure that your production out of that position will not lose you your matchup either. Also a viable option in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Deep League Streamer- a player who could fill a void at a position in a deeper league. Their ceiling may be close to average point production at the position but their floor is enough to get through the week. A reasonable player to have in your lineup in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

QB7 Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson missed practice on Wednesday for an undisclosed reason. It is likely to rest because he is still dealing with injuries suffered earlier this year. If Jackson misses Week 15 against the Cincinnati Bengals Tyler “Snoop” Huntley becomes QB28 between Tyrod Taylor and Kirk Cousins.
QB11 Trevor Lawerence, Jacksonville Jaguars
Trevor Lawerence was limited in practice on Wednesday because of an ankle injury. It is unclear if this injury could cause Lawerence to miss time. If Lawerence misses Week 15 against New York Jets Nick Mullens becomes QB26 between Bryce Young and Nick Mullens.
QB28 Tyrod Taylor, New York Jets
Tyrod Taylor suffered a groin injury last week against the Miami Dolphins. He missed practice on Wednesday because of the injury. If Taylor misses Week 15 against the Jacksonville Jaguars Brady Cook becomes QB32 below Riley Leonard.
Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts
Daniel Jones was placed on Injured Reserve on Tuesday after suffering a torn Achilles last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. This will end Jones’ 2025-26 season and put the beginning of his 2026-27 season in jeopardy. Since Anthony Richardson is already on Injured Reserve rookie Riley Leonard has been named the Indianapolis Colts starting quarterback. The team has also signed Philip Rivers to their practice squad in an attempt to raise the floor of their quarterback play if the team starts to sputter out of control with Leonard (or practice squad quarterback Brett Rypien) under center. Jones is headed to free agency once again. His market will likely be limited depending on his recovering to that point and because of how recent quarterbacks Kirk Cousins, Aaron Rodgers, and Deshaun Watson have played after returning from this injury.
Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
Jayden Daniels has been ruled out of this week’s game against the New York Giants after re-injuring his left elbow that caused him to miss the previous three games. Washington should shut Daniels down for the year now that this is the fourth injury he has suffered this year that has caused him to miss at least one game. They have a 3-10 record and will not be making the playoffs. At this point Washington needs to shut Daniels down before he does more damage to himself. Unfortunately, there isn’t certainty that they will shut Daniels down after allowing him to return from his last injury. Marcus Mariota should start the remainder of Washington’s games this season. He will remain a streaming option at quarterback for the remainder of the year.
Geno Smith, Las Vegas Raiders
Geno Smith suffered a shoulder injury last week against the Denver Broncos. This injury is expected to hold Smith out of this week’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Las Vegas will get a look at former first-round pick Kenny Pickett running this offense. One thing to look out for is if Pickett struggles, Las Vegas may see what Aidan O’Connell could do with this offense. He has started multiple games for the Raiders since being drafted to Las Vegas back in 2023.
