Fantasy Football Week 13 Tight End Rankings

The 2025-26 NFL season is underway which means we are in the thick of fantasy football season! The fantasy landscape has already changed since the preseason due to breakout players and major injuries across the league. Bye weeks have been taking place. However, there are no teams on a bye this week. Fantasy Managers will have full utilization of their roster and plenty of options to choose from when selecting who to start the week. On top of that, Injuries have started to mount up at this point of the season as well. It’s always a great idea to evaluate backup options so that way fantasy managers are prepared if star players miss time. Here are fantasy football Week 13 tight end rankings.

Key:

Must Start- a player who is in your lineup regardless of the matchup or most circumstances. They Will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and in most weeks.

Starting TE1- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a solid floor.

Touchdown Dependent Starter- a player who may not be a lock to start for a team every week, but will start more times than not because of depth at the position. Their production is based on whether they can get in the end zone or not. It can be the difference between a top 10 performance or a top 25 performance

Deep League Starter- a player whose ceiling isn’t high but should put up enough production to be started in deep leagues. When a player like this is started it is because their production though it will likely be low, will be better than a few options.

Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

Players that could miss this week’s game

TE14 Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills

Dalton Kincaid has missed the past two games with a hamstring injury. He missed practice on Wednesday because of the injury. If Kincaid misses Week 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers Dawson Knox becomes TE26 between Mike Gesicki and Isaiah Likely.

TE32 David Njoku, Cleveland Browns

David Njoku was limited in practice on Wednesday because of a knee injury. He missed practice last week because of the injury. If Njoku misses Week 13 against the San Francisco 49ers Harold Fannin Jr. will move up to TE10 between Dallas Goedert and Mark Andrews.

TE33 Chigoziem Okonkwo, Tennessee Titans

Chigoziem Okonkwo was limited in practice on Wednesday with a foot injury. He has been dealing with this injury for a few weeks. If Okonkwo misses Week 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars Gunnar Helm moves up to TE25 between T.J. Hockenson and Mason Taylor.

TE35 Michael Mayer, Las Vegas Raiders

Michael Mayer missed practice on Wednesday because of an ankle injury. He suffered the injury last week against the Cleveland Browns. If Mayer misses Week 13 against the Los Angeles Chargers Ian Thomas will be the Raiders backup tight end.

Players that are currently not expected to play

Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams

Tyler Higbee was placed on Injured Reserve last week with an ankle injury. Higbee will miss at least the next four games because of the injury. While Higbee is out Colby Parkinson expects to be the team’s starting tight end. But Terrance Ferguson and Davis Allen are expected to see more work the Rams as well in Higbee’s absence.

Brock Wright, Detroit Lions

Brock Wright was ruled out of this week’s game against the Green Bay Packers with a neck injury. Since Sam. LaPorta is on Injured Reserve Detroit will start Ross Dwelley at tight end until Wright returns. Dwelley is a longshot at best in DFS lineups and shouldn’t touch standard fantasy lineups unless he proves to have a consistent role while Wright is out.
