The 2021-22 NFL season is just past its halfway point. Bye weeks have been taking place the past few weeks. This means that quarterbacks like Matthew Stafford and Teddy Bridgewater will be out this week. On top of that injuries have started to mount up at this point of the season. It is always a great idea to evaluate backup options so that way fantasy managers are prepared if star players miss time. Here are the Fantasy Football Week 11 quarterback rankings.
*Ratings are subject to change due to injury reports or possible move to reserve/COVID-19 list*
(Check out the section below for details on players already rumored to possibly miss this week and how their replacement options rank for the week)
Key:
Must Start- a player who should definitely be in your lineup that week because of the combination of matchup and talent. They will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and could repeat the production most weeks.
Starter- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a high floor.
Low-End Starter- a player who should be started in most lineups but can possibly bottom out and finish below average on a given week. A high ceiling play in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Streamer- a player who could be a perfect replacement for a starter for a week or two. Starting this player may not win you your lineup but they will make sure that your production out of that position will not lose you your matchup either. Also a viable option in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Deep League Streamer- a player who could fill a void at a position in a deeper league. Their ceiling may be close to average point production at the position but their floor is enough to get through the week. A reasonable player to have in your lineup in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

Possible Changes that can occur before Sunday
QB7 Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
After the game against the Green Bay Packers, Kyler Murray suffered an ankle sprain. The report is that this injury is expected to linger for 1-3 weeks. He missed the past two games against the San Francisco 49ers and Carolina Panthers. If Arizona decides to continue to rest Murray Colt McCoy would join the list as QB24 between Trevor Siemian and Matt Ryan.
QB13 Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
Tua Tagovailoa was Miami’s emergency backup because of a finger injury. He is expected to play this week. If Tagovailoa doesn’t play against the New York Jets Jacoby Brissett will get the start. If Brissett starts then he would slot in at QB21 between Trevor Lawerence and Carson Wentz.
QB15 Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers
Late last week the Carolina Panthers signed with the Carolina Panthers to eventually become the starter. Last week P.J. Walker started for Carolina and Newton was used in some packages near the goalline. If Newton doesn’t start and Walker does then Walker would be the QB22 between Carson Wentz and Baker Mayfield. Then Newton would slot in at QB31 between Joe Flacco and Taysom Hill.
QB23 Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns
Baker Mayfield is considered day-to-day with a knee injury after suffering it last week against the New England Patriots. If Mayfield was to miss this game against the Detriot Lions then Case Keenum would slot in at QB25 between Matt Ryan and Ben Roethlisberger.
QB26 Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
Ben Roethlisberger was inactive last week due to a positive COVID-19 test. If he remains out then Mason Rudolph will start again this week. In a matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers Rudolph would slot in at QB30 between Joe Flacco and Taysom Hill.
QB28 Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
Jared Goff suffered an oblique injury that could hold in out of Detroit’s game this week against the Cleveland Browns. If Goff is out then Tim Boyle will slot in at QB30 between Joe Flacco and Taysom Hill
