The 2021-22 NFL season is just past its halfway point. Bye weeks have been taking place the past few weeks. This means those wide receivers like Ja’Marr Chase and Brandin Cooks will be out this week. On top of that injuries have started to mount up at this point of the season. It is always a great idea to evaluate backup options so that way fantasy managers are prepared if star players miss time. Here are the Fantasy Football Week 10 wide receiver rankings.
*Ratings are subject to change due to injury reports or possible move to reserve/COVID-19 list*
(Check out the section below for details on players already rumored to possibly miss this week and how their replacement options rank for the week)
Key:
Must Start- a player who is in your lineup regardless of the matchup or most circumstances. They will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and in most weeks.
Starting WR1- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a high floor.
High WR2- a player who may isn’t likely to carry a lineup that week, but has the ability to have a breakout game and is teetering between WR1 and WR2 category.
Starting WR2- a player who should be started in most lineups and should reach their point projection. This player is started is because of their consistency and moderately high floor
Low WR2- a player who may not be a lock to start for a team every week, but will start more times than not. Their production may not be pretty or win a person their lineup but the production is consistent enough to make a fantasy owner comfortable starting them.
Flex- a player who could float around the territory of being benched, but is started due to the potential to play better than their point projection. However, this player has the potential to flop and causes a fantasy team to lose if he has a bad game.
Deeper League Flex- a player who has starting value in deeper leagues. There are enough reasons to leave this player on the bench, but their upside makes them an attractive option. Desperate times may call for a player like this to be inserted into starting lineups.
Upside Player- a player who is boom or bust. This player can exceed expectations in a given week or could flop and be the reason why someone lost their fantasy matchup.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

Possible Changes that can occur before Sunday
WR9 Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers
Keenan Allen missed practice Wednesday with a knee injury. Missing practice was more of a precaution than anything but this is something to pay attention to throughout the week. If Allen is out this week against the Minnesota Vikings then Mike Williams will move up to WR20 between DeAndre Hopkins and Cole Beasley. Jalen Guyton would be the WR48 between Elijah Moore and Donovan Peoples-Jones.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Wide Receivers: WR14 Chris Godwin & WR18 Antonio Brown
Chris Godwin missed practice the past two days with a foot injury. Antonio Brown is continuing to nurse an ankle injury. If Both Godwin and Brown are out then Tyler Johnson would move up to WR34 between T.Y. Hilton and Van Jefferson. In DFS leagues 2021 fourth round pick rookie Jaelon Darden would be an interesting play in a great matchup against Washington.
If Godwin plays and Brown is out then Tyler Johnson would move up to WR49 between Christian Kirk and Laviska Shenault.
If Godwin is out and Brown is active then Brown would move up to WR15 between Michael Pittman Jr. and CeeDee Lamb. Tyler Johnson would then move up to WR49 between Christian Kirk and Laviska Shenault.
Arizona Cardinals Wide Receivers: WR20 DeAndre Hopkins & WR68 Rondale Moore
DeAndre Hopkins is dealing with a hamstring injury for the past three weeks. On top of that Rondale Moore is dealing with a concussion and neck injury. Their status for this weekend is uncertain. If both players are out then Christian Kirk moves up to WR29 between Emmanuel Sanders and Tyler Lockett. Recently activated A.J. Green would move up to WR47 between Deonte Harris and Elijah Moore.
WR25 Hunter Renfrow, Las Vegas Raiders
Hunter Renfrow was limited in practice Wednesday with an ankle injury. If he was out Bryan Edwards would move up to WR44 between Kalif Raymond and James Washington. It is unclear how involved DeSean Jackson and Zay Jones would be in that scenario. It would be advised to continue to avoid both of them if this scenario was to happen.
WR34 DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles
DeVonta Smith was limited in practice Wednesday with an elbow injury. If he doesn’t play against Denver then Jalen Reagor would move up to WR63 between Nelson Agholor and Robby Anderson. Quez Watkins would move up to WR65 between Allen Lazard and DeSean Jackson.
WR35 T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts
T.Y. Hilton missed last week’s game against the New York Jets with a concussion. If Hilton misses this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars Zach Pascal will move up to WR44 between Kalif Raymond and James Washington.
WR38 Corey Davis, New York Jets
Corey Davis has missed the last two games with a hip injury. If Davis doesn’t play this week Elijah Moore moves up to WR39 between Courtland Sutton and Julio Jones. Jamison Crowder would then move up to WR57 between Tim Patrick and Zach Pascal.
WR56 Tim Patrick, Denver Broncos
Tim Patrick missed practice Wednesday because of a knee injury. If Patrick is out Kendall Hinton would be the WR74 between Cedrick Wilson and Freddie Swain.
Washington Football Team Wide Receivers: WR60 Curtis Samuel & WR77 Dyami Brown
Curtis Samuel is still dealing with a groin injury. and Dyami Brown missed Washington’s last game with a knee injury. If both are out then Adam Humphires becomes the WR61 between Amon-Ra St. Brown and Nelson Agholor. Then DeAndre Carter would become the WR73 between Olamide Zaccheaus and Quez Watkins.
If Samuel is out then Brown moves up to WR59 between Mack Hollins an Jamison Crowder. Adam Humphries would then become the WR79 between Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Gabriel Davis.
If Samuel is active and Brown is out then Adam Humphries would take over Dyami Brown’s spot at WR77.
WR71 Sammy Watkins, Baltimore Ravens
Sammy Watkins has missed Baltimore’s last three games with a thigh injury. This is something to pay attention to before Thursday night for managers with Watkins on their roster.
WR74 Cedrick Wilson, Dallas Cowboys
Cedrick Wilson hasn’t practiced the past two days because of a shoulder injury. If Wilson is out then Malik Turner would take over his role as WR74.
