The 2023-24 NFL season has been outstanding so far. Already there have been a ton of breakout players and fantasy duds that have made the game so entertaining. Bye weeks are starting to take place. This means that wide receivers like Tyreek Hill and Cooper Kupp will be out this week. On top of that injuries have started to mount up at this point of the season. It is always a great idea to evaluate backup options so that way fantasy managers are prepared if star players miss time. Here are the fantasy football week 10 wide receiver rankings.
Must Start- a player who is in your lineup regardless of the matchup or most circumstances. They will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and in most weeks.
Starting WR1- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a high floor.
High WR2- a player who may not be likely to carry a lineup that week, but has the ability to have a breakout game and is teetering between WR1 and WR2 territory.
Starting WR2- a player who should be started in most lineups and should reach their point projection. This player is started is because of their consistency and moderately high floor
Low WR2- a player who may not be a lock to start for a team every week, but will start more times than not. Their production may not be pretty or win a person their lineup but the production is consistent enough to make a fantasy owner comfortable starting them.
Flex- a player who could float around the territory of being benched, but is started due to the potential to play better than their point projection. However, this player has the potential to flop and cause a fantasy team to lose if he has a bad game.
Deeper League Flex- a player who has starting value in deeper leagues. There are enough reasons to leave this player on the bench, but their upside makes them an attractive option. Desperate times may call for a player like this to be inserted into starting lineups.
Upside Player- a player who is boom or bust. This player can exceed expectations in a given week or could flop and be the reason why someone lost their fantasy matchup.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

Cincinnati Bengals Wide Receivers: WR1 Ja’Marr Chase & WR19 Tee Higgins
Ja’Marr Chase missed practice on Wednesday with a back injury. Tee Higgins was limited in practice on Wednesday with a hamstring injury. If Chase is inactive and Higgins is active in Week 10 against the Houston Texans Higgins moves up to WR10 between Adam Thielen and D.K. Metcalf. Tyler Boyd would move up to WR27 between Courtland Sutton and D.J. Moore.
If Higgins is inactive and Chase is active in Week 10 against the Houston Texans Tyler Boyd would move up to WR32 between Michael Thomas and Amari Cooper.
If both Chase and Higgins are inactive in Week 10 against the Houston Texans Tyler Boyd would move up to WR17 between Nico Collins and Marquise “Hollywood” Brown. Andrei Ioivas would become the WR53 between Michael Gallup and Odell Beckham Jr.
WR17 Nico Collins, Houston Texans
Nico Collins was limited in practice on Wednesday with a calf injury. It is unclear if this injury will affect his status for next week. If Collins misses Week 10 against the Cincinnati Bengals Tank Dell moves up to WR21 between Christian Kirk and Drake London. Noah Brown moves up to WR36 between Jerry Jeudy and Gabriel Davis.
WR22 Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
Drake London missed last week’s game with a groin injury. He was limited in practice on Wednesday. If London misses Week 10 against the Arizona Cardinals Van Jefferson becomes the WR42 between Zay Jones and Jakobi Meyers.
Seattle Seahawks Wide Receivers: WR25 Tyler Lockett & WR35 Jaxon Smith-Njigba
Tyler Lockett was limited in practice on Wednesday with a hamstring injury. Jaxon Smith Njigba missed practice on Wednesday with a hip injury. If Lockett is inactive and Smith-Njigba is active in Week 10 against the Washington Commanders Smith-Njigba moves up to WR24 between Garrett Wilson and Calvin Ridley. Jake Bobo becomes WR43 between Jakobi Meyers and Khalil Shakir.
If Smith-Njigba is inactive and Lockett is active in Week 10 against the Washington Commanders Jake Bobo becomes WR48 between Tyler Boyd and Jonathan Mingo.
If both Lockett and Smith-Nigba are inactive in Week 10 against the Washington Commanders Jake Bobo becomes the WR37 between Gabriel Davis and Christian Watson.
Washington Commanders Wide Receivers WR29 Jahan Dotson & WR45 Curtis Samuel, Washington Commanders
Jahan Dotson missed practice on Wednesday for personal reasons. Curtis Samuel missed last week’s game against the New England Patriots with a toe injury. If Dotson is inactive and Samuel is active in Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks Samuel moves up to WR36 between Jerry Jeudy and Gabriel Davis.
If Samuel is inactive and Dotson is active in Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks Dyami Brown become the WR69 between Trey Palmer and Jalin Hyatt.
If Dotson and Samuel are both inactive against the Seattle Seahawks Dyami Brown becomes the WR54 between Darius Slayton and Rondale Moore.
New England Patriots Wide Receivers: WR31 Demario “Pop” Douglas & WR58 DeVante Parker
Demario “Pop” Douglas was limited in practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury. DeVante Parker was limited in practice on Wednesday with a concussion. If Douglas is inactive and Parker is active in Week 10 against the Indianapolis Colts Parker moves up to WR42 between Zay Jones and Jakobi Meyers. JuJu Smith-Schuster would move up to WR51 between Rashid Shaheed and Wan’Dale Robinson. Jalen Reagor would move up to WR54 between Odell Beckham Jr. and Darius Slayton.
If Parker is inactive and Douglas is active in Week 10 against the Indianapolis Colts JuJu Smith-Schuster would move up to WR51 between Rashid Shaheed and Wan’Dale Robinson. Jalen Reagor would move up to WR54 between Odell Beckham Jr. and Darius Slayton.
If both Douglas and Parker are inactive in Week 10 against the Indianapolis Colts JuJu Smith-Schuster would move up to WR38 between Christian Watson and George Pickens. Jalen Reagor would move up to WR47 between Quentin Johnston and Elijah Moore.
WR42 Zay Jones, Jacksonville Jaguars
Zay Jones was limited in practice on Wednesday with a knee injury. He has been dealing with this injury all season. If Jones misses Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers Jamal Agnew becomes the WR59 between Michael Wilson and Allen Lazard.
WR54 Odell Beckham Jr., Baltimore Ravens
Odell Beckham Jr. missed practice on Wednesday with a knee injury. If he misses Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns Rashod Bateman becomes the WR55 between Darius Slayton and Rondale Moore. Nelson Agholor becomes the WR69 between Trey Palmer and Jalin Hyatt.

WR60 Allen Lazard, New York Jets

WR69 Trey Palmer, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Trey Palmer was limited in practice with a neck injury. if he misses Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans Devin Thompkins becomes the WR70 between Jalin Hyatt and Rashod Bateman.
Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts
Josh Downs has been dealing with a knee injury for two weeks. Downs reaggravated the injury last week against the Carolina Panthers. It is unlikely he plays this week against the New England Patriots. While Downs is out Isaiah McKenzie should see Downs’ snaps in the slot and Alec Pierce sees an uptick in targets.
Josh Palmer, Los Angeles Chargers
Josh Palmer was placed on Injured Reserve last week because of a knee injury. Los Angeles’ wide receiver room is now a lot thinner now that Palmer joins Mike Williams in Injured Reserve. Palmer is expected to return this season. While Palmer is out Quentin Johnston should see the role many expected him to have when Williams got hurt. Jalen Guyton and Derius Davis should see increased roles as outside receivers in this offense.
K.J. Osborn, Minnesota Vikings
K.J. Osborn missed practice on Wednesday with a concussion. He is unlikely to play this week against the New Orleans Saints. While Osborn is out Brandon Powell will be the team’s number two receivers behind Jordan Addison.
Robert Woods, Houston Texans
Robert Woods missed the past two games because of a foot injury. He also missed practice on Wednesday because of the injury. In Woods’ absence there isn’t one specific receiver for the Texans that will see more work. The Texans have spread the ball out to their pass catchers this season.
Treylon Burks, Tennessee Titans
Treylon Burks missed practice on Wednesday with a concussion. If he misses this week Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Kyle Philips, and Chris Moore should see increased roles in the offense.
DJ Chark, Carolina Panthers
DJ Chark is doubtful to play this week with an elbow injury. If Chark misses Week 10 against the Chicago Bears Terrace Marshall Jr. should take over as Carolina’s third receiver in their offense.
