The 2022-23 NFL season has already been extremely entertaining. Bye weeks are starting to take place. This means that tight ends like Mark Andrews and Hayden Hurst will be out this week. On top of that injuries have started to mount up at this point of the season. It is always a great idea to evaluate backup options so that way fantasy managers are prepared if star players miss time. TE6 David Njoku, Cleveland Browns
David Njoku did not practice Wednesday because of an ankle injury. If Njoku doesn’t play this Sunday against the Miami Dolphins Harrison Bryant would join the list at TE24 between Mike Gesicki and Juwan Johnson.
TE12 Darren Waller, Las Vegas Raiders
Darren Waller missed the past three games because of a hamstring injury. He was limited in practice on Wednesday. If Waller doesn’t play this week against the Indianapolis Colts Foster Moreau will be the TE18 between Robert Tonyan and Will Dissly.
TE13 Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars
Evan Engram suffered a back injury last week against the Las Vegas Raiders. He was limited in practice on Wednesday. If Engram cannot play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs Dan Arnold will slot in at TE25 between Juwan Johnson and James Mitchell.
