The 2025-26 NFL season is underway which means we are in the thick of fantasy football season! The fantasy landscape has already changed since the preseason due to breakout players and major injuries across the league. Bye weeks have been taking place. This means that quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes and Dak Prescott will be out this week. It would be irresponsible to start a player with a rough matchup over a player with a more favorable one that is ranked or projected to perform similarly. Here are fantasy football Week 10 quarterback rankings.
[Ratings are subject to change due to injury reports or possible move to Injured Reserve List]
[Check out the section below for details on players already rumored to possibly miss this week and how their replacement options rank for the week]
Must Start- a player who should definitely be in your lineup that week because of the combination of matchup and talent. They will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and could repeat the production most weeks.
Starter- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a high floor.
Low-End Starter- a player who should be started in most lineups but can possibly bottom out and finish below average on a given week. A high ceiling play in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Streamer- a player who could be a perfect replacement for a starter for a week or two. Starting this player may not win you your lineup but they will make sure that your production out of that position will not lose you your matchup either. Also a viable option in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Deep League Streamer- a player who could fill a void at a position in a deeper league. Their ceiling may be close to average point production at the position but their floor is enough to get through the week. A reasonable player to have in your lineup in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

QB14 C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans
C.J. Stroud suffered a concussion last week against the Denver Broncos. Given the nature of the injury it seems unlikely that Stroud will play this week. If Stroud misses Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars Davis Mills becomes QB24 between Bryce Young and Tua Tagovailoa.
QB17 Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
Brock Purdy missed the past five games with a toe injury. He is currently considered week-to-week and could return this week. If Purdy misses Week 10 against the Los Angeles Rams Mac Jones becomes QB17 between J.J. McCarthy and Justin Fields.
Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
During last week’s game against the Seattle Seahawks Jayden Daniels dislocated his elbow. It has not been confirmed, but this will likely mean the end of his 2025-26 season. The Commanders are 3-6 and have been decimated by injuries all season. Unless Marcus Mariota can string some wins together keeping the Commanders in the playoff picture, Washington will likely hold Daniels out. Mariota becomes a streaming option for fantasy managers for the remainder of the year. Next season managers must consider all the injuries Daniels suffered this season before drafting him. One of his biggest concerns coming out of LSU was the combination of his size and playing style. Many feared that Daniels could be prone to injuries once he reached the NFL.
Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
Kyler Murray has missed the past three games with a foot injury. Jacoby Brissett has filled in extremely well over the last few weeks. Arizona’s top weapons Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr. have put up better numbers with Brissett under center. Arizona has named Brissett the team’s starting quarterback next week. Reports say that Murray’s timeline is between 4-8 weeks to return. If Brissett keeps playing at a higher level than Murray has over the last few seasons the Cardinals could be in the market for a new starting quarterback this offseason making Murray one of the premier trade targets for quarterback needy teams this offseason.
