The 2021-22 NFL season is just past its halfway point. Bye weeks have been taking place the past few weeks. This means that quarterbacks like Joe Burrow and Daniel Jones will be out this week. On top of that injuries have started to mount up at this point of the season. It is always a great idea to evaluate backup options so that way fantasy managers are prepared if star players miss time. Here are the Fantasy Football Week 10 quarterback rankings.
*Ratings are subject to change due to injury reports or possible move to reserve/COVID-19 list*
(Check out the section below for details on players already rumored to possibly miss this week and how their replacement options rank for the week)
Key:
Must Start- a player who should definitely be in your lineup that week because of the combination of matchup and talent. They will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and could repeat the production most weeks.
Starter- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a high floor.
Low-End Starter- a player who should be started in most lineups but can possibly bottom out and finish below average on a given week. A high ceiling play in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Streamer- a player who could be a perfect replacement for a starter for a week or two. Starting this player may not win you your lineup but they will make sure that your production out of that position will not lose you your matchup either. Also a viable option in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Deep League Streamer- a player who could fill a void at a position in a deeper league. Their ceiling may be close to average point production at the position but their floor is enough to get through the week. A reasonable player to have in your lineup in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

Possible Changes that can occur before Sunday
QB5 Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
Matthew Stafford sprained his ankle last week against the Tennessee Titans. He is expected to play against San Francisco this week but it depends on how practice goes throughout the week. If this injury was to hold Stafford out of this week’s game John Wolford would slot in at QB20 between Jimmy Garoppolo and Ryan Tannehill.
QB6 Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
The earliest Aaron Rodgers can be activated from the Reserve/Covid-19 list is the Saturday before the Packers play Seattle. There is a slight chance Rodgers doesn’t suit up for Green Bay’s game this weekend. If he doesn’t then Jordan Love would slot in at QB22 between Taylor Heinicke and Jared Goff.
QB10 Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
After the game against the Green Bay Packers, Kyler Murray suffered an ankle sprain. The report is that this injury is expected to linger for 1-3 weeks. He missed last week’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. If Arizona decides to continue to rest Murray Colt McCoy would join the list as QB25 between Mac Jones and Mike White.
QB16 Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
Tua Tagovailoa was a late inactive Sunday because of a broken middle finger. He is listed as questionable and will be a game-time decision. If Tagovailoa doesn’t play Thursday night then Jacoby Brissett will get the start. If Brissett starts then he would slot in at QB23 between Jared Goff and Baker Mayfield.
QB18 Trevor Lawerence, Jacksonville Jaguars
Last week against the Buffalo Bills Trevor Lawerence suffered a low ankle sprain. He is expected to play this week. However, if Lawerence doesn’t play C.J. Beathard would slot in at QB26 between Mike White and Trevor Siemian.
QB19 Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
Ben Roethlisberger was held out of practice with a shoulder and pectoral injury. He is expected to play through it this weekend against Detriot. If Pittsburgh decides to rest Roethlisberger then Mason Rudolph will slot in at QB25 Mac Jones and Mike White.
