Fantasy Football Defenses to Stream Week 14

Publish Date: December 1, 2025

One of the biggest strategies in fantasy football is streaming defenses. Each week owners will look at matchups and make waiver wire acquisitions to find their starting defense. Here are fantasy football defenses to stream week 14. (Note: All defenses mentioned are owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues. Stats from before Monday Night Football)

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay has had a below-average fantasy defense this season, ranking 20th at 5.7 points per game. They have two double-digit scoring games, which were against the Jets and the Buccaneers. The Bucs have had two negative-scoring outings, which were against the Seahawks and the Patriots.

This week, the Buccaneers play the New Orleans Saints. The Saints score just 15.2 points per game this season, which ranks 30th in the league. In the last seven games, they have not reached 20 points. Todd Bowles will have the defense schemed up well for rookie quarterback Tyler Shough. The last time these two teams played, the Buccaneers scored 25 fantasy points. They are rostered in 23.1 percent of ESPN leagues.

2. Tennessee Titans

The Titans have a bad fantasy defense this season, ranking 24th at 4.3 points per game. They have one double-digit scoring game, which was a 20-point performance against the Chargers. They have two negative-scoring games, which were against the Colts in both of their meetings.

In week 14, the Titans match up with the Cleveland Browns. The Browns score 16.2 points per game this season, which ranks 29th in the league. Tennessee has the advantage in this matchup and have been playing decently as of late, with three-straight, five-point scoring games. They are rostered in one percent of ESPN leagues.

3. Washington Commanders

Washington has one of the worst fantasy defenses in the league, ranking 30th at 2.1 points per game. They have scored double-digit points in two games, which were against the Raiders and Chargers. They have scored negative points five times this season: vs. Packers, Falcons, Cowboys, Seahawks and Lions.

This week, the Commanders play the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota is scoring just 18.7 points per game this season. JJ McCarthy has struggled and he missed last week with a concussion. Max Brosmer looked even worse. Whoever starts at quarterback will make the Vikings vulnerable, as they haven’t scored more than 20 points in the last four games. They are rostered in 2.7 percent of ESPN leagues.

4. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have a solid fantasy defense this season, ranking 11th at 6.6 points per game. They have registered three double-digit scoring games this season, which were against the Dolphins, Titans and Raiders. They have not had a negative-scoring game this season, but did score 0 against the Rams.

Indianapolis plays Jacksonville in a divisional game this week. The Jaguars score 24.3 points per game, making them a solid offense. This matchup features a solid offense vs. a decent offense, so having the Colts on this list is leaning on their talent. The Colts are rostered in 46.8 percent of ESPN leagues.

5. Miami Dolphins

Miami has a subpar fantasy defense, ranking 23rd at 4.8 points per game. They have scored double-digits two times, which were against the Bills and the Saints. The Dolphins have also scored negative points, which came at the hands of the Colts and the Chargers.

This week, the Dolphins play the New York Jets. The Jets score 20.5 points per game, ranking 25th in the league. Tyrod Taylor seemed to give the Jets more life at quarterback, as they scored 27 against the Falcons, so the Dolphins should only be started in desperation. Miami’s recent defensive performances in which they have scored 11, 7 and 13 give some hope though. They are rostered in 13.7 percent of ESPN leagues.
