Fantasy Football Defenses to Stream Week 12

Publish Date: November 17, 2025

One of the biggest strategies in fantasy football is streaming defenses. Each week owners will look at matchups and make waiver wire acquisitions to find their starting defense. Here are fantasy football defenses to stream week 12. (Note: All defenses mentioned are owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues. Stats from before Monday Night Football)

1. Cleveland Browns

The Browns have a great fantasy defense this season, ranking fourth in the league at 8.7 points per game. They have three double-digit scoring games, which were against the Packers, Dolphins and Ravens. They have no negative-scoring games this season, although they did score 0 against Pittsburgh.

This week, the Browns match up with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders will be coming off a short week after playing on Monday Night Football. They score just 15.4 points per game, which ranks 31st in the league, and they have struggled with turnovers. Cleveland’s defense should be able to take advantage of the situation and have a good game. They are rostered in 40.7 percent of ESPN leagues.

2. Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders have a bad fantasy defense this season, ranking 26th at 4.2 points per game. They have two double-digit scoring performances, which were against the Broncos and Titans. Las Vegas has three negative scoring games, which came at the  hands of the Commanders, Colts and Chiefs.

In week 12, the Raiders play the Cleveland Browns. The Browns are scoring 16.2 points per game, ranking 29th in the league. Starting quarterback Dillon Gabriel was injured in week 11 and Shedeur Sanders completed just four passes in relief. Whoever is starting this week likely won’t give the Browns a chance to have significant offensive output. The Raiders are rostered in 5.9 percent of ESPN leagues.

3. Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons have had a solid fantasy defense this season, ranking 13th at 6.2 points per game. They have had three double-digit scoring games, which were against the Vikings, Bills and Patriots. Their lone negative scoring output was against the Panthers in week 11.

This week, the Falcons play the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are coming off of a bye, but they score just 15.5 points per game, ranking 30th in the league. New Orleans is starting rookie Tyler Shough and Atlanta may be able to take advantage of that and turn him over. Atlanta is rostered in 42.8 percent of ESPN leagues.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville has a quality fantasy defense, ranking 10th in the league at 7.1 points per game. They have four double-digit scoring games, which were against the Panthers, Texans, 49ers and Chargers. The Jaguars have had one negative-scoring games, which was against the Rams in week 7.

In week 12, the Jaguars are playing the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are scoring 22.4 points per game, which is good enough for 19th in the league. Jacoby Brissett has played well, but the Cardinals have injuries at wide receiver and running back which could impact them more down the stretch. Jacksonville can have a solid game this week and are rostered in 30 percent of ESPN leagues.

5. Buffalo Bills

The Bills have an average fantasy defense this season, ranking 19th at 5.6 points per game. They have scored double-digits twice this season, against the Jets and Panthers. The Bills have one negative scoring game, which was a -2 point outing against the Ravens in week 1.

Buffalo has the Houston Texans on the schedule for week 12. CJ Stroud is expected to return from a concussion; otherwise, the Bills may rank higher on this list. They score 22.0 points per game this season, but mainly rely on their defense to push them to wins. The Bills may be able to take advantage of the Texans’ offensive line in this matchup. Buffalo is rostered in 45.4 percent of ESPN leagues.
