This year more than ever it has been difficult to make decisions about fantasy football lineups because of injuries, byes, and Covid-19 concerns. With players like Patrick Mahomes and Ben Roethlisberger sitting out this week championship fantasy teams could be largely affected and could force teams to start emergency options.
This week is the second week of championship week in a majority of leagues and players may have two quarterbacks on their roster that they have been flipping between all season. Deciding between the two could be the difference between winning and losing. For owners who have to stream a quarterback this week, it may be difficult to choose who to put into the lineup.
Here are quarterback rankings for Week 17 of the 2020 NFL Season.

Since the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers are resting some of their star players on Sunday it is likely that the Buffalo Bills could as well. If that is the case Matt Barkley could replace Josh Allen during this game. If there is a chance Allen could be benched he becomes a risky start for this week because he is playing against the tough Miami defense.
Not only is Matthew Stafford recovering from a rib and thumb injury, but now he is dealing with an ankle issue. The crazy part is that Stafford hasn’t been ruled out for this week either despite having nothing to play for with Detroit out of the playoff race. If Stafford doesn’t suit up Chase Daniels will become QB25 between Tua Tagovailoa and Alex Smith.
Despite releasing Dwayne Haskins, the Washington Football Team still may be without their starting quarterback Alex Smith who has been dealing with a calf injury. If Smith cannot go, Taylor Heinicke will be QB33 on the week right above Mason Rudolph.
