Fantasy football season is here. Every year millions of people play fantasy and with that comes the prep work to make sure that every draft is one that can produce a champion. This article will go through what happened in a real draft for a standard-scoring league of 10 teams and analyze the results of a standard-scoring league. Here are 2024 fantasy football draft results.
Team number one had the first pick, pick number 20, 21, etc. The teams following this one will follow the draft order.
Team 1
Roster: QB Brock Purdy, RB Christian McCaffrey, RB Najee Harris, WR Davante Adams, WR Chris Olave, TE Mark Andrews, WR Brandon Aiyuk, Ravens D/ST, K Cairo Santos, WR Malik Nabers, RB Ezekiel Elliott, RB Jaylen Warren, WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, RB Trey Benson, TE Pat Freiermuth, QB Caleb Williams
The RB2 spot and running back depth overall could be an issue for this team, but they have plenty of receiver talent. Purdy is a steady presence at quarterback, but is a borderline starter in a 10-team league.
Team 2
Roster: QB Josh Allen, RB James Cook, RB Aaron Jones, WR CeeDee Lamb, WR Garrett Wilson, TE Taysom Hill, WR Cooper Kupp, Cowboys D/ST, K Younghoe Koo, WR DeVonta Smith, RB Javonte Williams, RB Blake Corum, TE Evan Engram, WR Marquise Brown, RB Rico Dowdle, RB Deuce Vaughn
Wide receivers are the strength in this team, as there are three really good ones. Starting running backs are relatively weak, but there is some depth, especially if Blake Corum takes a big role in the Rams’ backfield.
Team 3
Roster: QB Patrick Mahomes, RB Josh Jacobs, RB Brian Robinson, WR Tyreek Hill, WR Puka Nacua, TE Dalton Kincaide, RB Jerome Ford, 49ers D/ST, K Justin Tucker, WR Stefon Diggs, RB Gus Edwards, WR Rome Odunze, TE Jake Ferguson, QB Jayden Daniels, WR Darnell Mooney, WR Jerry Jeudy
RB2 is relatively weak, but there is plenty of depth for this team at several positions. This team can make a run to the playoffs.
Team 4
Roster: QB Lamar Jackson, RB Bijan Robinson, RB Travis Etienne, WR DJ Moore, WR Michael Pittman Jr., TE David Njoku, RB Kenneth Walker, Steelers D/ST, K Brandon Aubrey, WR Rashee Rice, WR Christian Watson, WR Courtland Sutton, RB J.K. Dobbins, WR Adam Thielen, QB Aaron Rodgers, TE Dalton Schultz
The wide receivers on this team give reason for concern. The top three running backs could all be RB1s, but this manager will have to play the matchups well to get good wide receiver production.
Team 5
Roster: QB Dak Prescott, RB Derrick Henry, RB Rachaad White, WR Ja’Marr Chase, WR DK Metcalf, TE George Kittle, WR Jaylen Waddle, Bengals D/ST, K Kai’imi Fairbairn, RB David Montgomery, WR Calvin Ridley, RB Tyjae Spears, RB Nick Chubb, WR Jameson Williams, WR Mike Williams, RB Tyler Allgeier
This team is loaded with depth at the running back and wide receiver position. The wide receivers are particularly intriguing, while the running backs aren’t some of the best names, but should be productive.
Team 6
Roster: QB Jordan Love, RB Breece Hall, RB Rhamondre Stevenson, WR A.J. Brown, WR Mike Evans, TE Travis Kelce, WR George Pickens, Jets D/ST, K Jake Elliott, RB Zamir White, WR Xavier Worthy, RB Zack Moss, QB Tua Tagovailoa, WR Jordan Addison, WR Brian Thomas Jr., TE Mike Gesicki
This is another team with a RB2 that could be concerning, given the Patriots’ offense having limitations. Wide receivers are talented and there are plenty of them on the roster.
Team 7
Roster: QB Anthony Richardson, RB Saquon Barkley, RB D’Andre Swift, WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR Drkae London, TE Brock Bowers, WR Marvin Harrison Jr., Bears D/ST, K Cameron Dicker, RB Raheem Mostert, RB Devin Singletary, WR Christian Kirk, WR Keon Coleman, RB Jonathon Brooks, WR Khalil Shakir, TE T.J. Hockenson
This is another team with an RB2 that could cause issues. The Bears signed Swift to play running back, but they have several talented ones to go to if needed. The wide receiver talent and Anthony Richardson’s running ability could lead this team to the playoffs.
Team 8
Roster: QB Joe Burrow, RB Jonathan Taylor, RB Jahmyr Gibbs, WR Amari Cooper, WR Tank Dell, TE Sam LaPorta, RB De’Von Achane, Browns D/ST, K Greg Zuerlein, WR Terry McLaurin, WR Keenan Allen, RB Chase Brown, WR Jakobi Myers, RB Chuba Hubbard, QB Trevor Lawrence, WR Ricky Pearsall
The running backs on this team could carry them all the way to the playoffs. On the other hand, the wide receivers aren’t great. Cooper has a limited ceiling, while Dell will be fighting for targets with Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs.
Team 9
Roster: QB C.J. Stroud, RB Kyren Williams, RB Joe Mixon, WR Justin Jefferson, WR Tee Higgins, TE Kyle Pitts, WR Diontae Johnson, Saints D/ST, K Evan McPherson, RB Tony Pollard, WR Chris Godwin, WR Ladd McConkey, WR Tyler Lockett, TE Dallas Goedert, QB Justin Herbert, WR Gabe Davis
The running backs for this team could hold them back. Williams will be returning punts, which could mean less of an offensive workload is coming. Mixon is reliable, but won’t have too many big days unless he finds the end zone multiple times.
Team 10
Roster: QB Jalen Hurts, RB Isiah Pacheco, RB Alvin Kamara, WR Deebo Samuel Sr., WR Nico Collins, TE Trey McBride, RB James Conner, Dolphins D/ST, K Harrison Butker, WR Zay Flowers, WR Jayden Reed, RB Austin Ekeler, QB Kyler Murray, RB Ty Chandler, RB Zach Charbonnet, WR DeAndre Hopkins
Team 10 lacks top-end talent. With the top running back being Pacheco and top receiver being Samuel, they don’t have a consistent top fantasy player week in and week out.
