

In a press release sent to The Game Haus on July 11, it was announced that the World Showdown of Esports was announcing WSOE 7: The Tekken 7 & SoulCalibur VI Event. This is set to happen on July 27, 2019 at 9:45 am PDT the PokerGO Studio at the Aria resort in Las Vegas. It will also be broadcast on the WSOE Twitch channel.

With over $30,000 in prizes on the line, this is set to be a high-caliber event in the Tekken and Soul Caliber esports scene with Vegas being the perfect home for such an event.
But, according to the press release, “There will be no live in-studio audience, however, media are welcomed and encouraged to attend and cover the action. Players, casting talent will be available for on-site or phone interviews beginning Friday, July 26, with WSOE Commissioner Christian Bishop available throughout the month of July.”
