What is the Wild Rift Zeri Release Date?

Wild Rift continues to catch up with League of Legends in terms of the different champions in the game. Many are wondering when Wild Rift may receive an exclusive champion? That is a question for another day though. With Wild Rift Patch 4.0 coming soon, players will want to see the new Champions coming with it. Here is the Wild Rift Release Date for Zeri.

Zeri was just released in League of Legends on PC back at the beginning of 2022. She was apparently originally supposed to be released near the end of 2021, but this was pushed back due to a few different issues. During this time, Arcane was released and with Zeri and Renata Glasc, a champion still not in Wild Rift, they were originally supposed to tie in with the show in some way. The main reason being that they were both from Zaun, a city prominently displayed in Arcane.

Aside from that, Zeri is an ADC that was a bit problematic at the highest level in 2022. She already is up there for the most pentakills in the history of the game and it felt like there was at least one a week. Because of this, the League of Legends developer team absolutely gutted her. It will be interesting to see how she fares in Wild Rift with the controls being a bit more player friendly.

In terms of the release date for Zeri, that will coincide with Wild Rift Patch 4.0. This is coming at the beginning of 2023, more specifically it should be around January 12, 2023 with the Lunar New Year as she is expected to get a new skin in that line.
