Super Smash Brothers: Demise Esports signs Seagull Joe

Publish Date: September 24, 2018

Demise Esports are adding Super Smash Brothers to their roster of games by bringing on Joseph “Seagull Joe” Raucher. He comes in ranked in the top 10 in Brawl and #4 of Smash 4 in Maryland/Virginia. Raucher currently mains Sonic and Diddy Kong for Smash 4 and is a Wolf main on Brawl.

Currently Demise Esports have been making a few different moves. They recently added a CSGO squad to go along with their teams in Battlion1944, Rainbow Six Siege, Fifa, Splatoon, and Fortnite.

In what is undoubtedly a move for the future, Demise Esports brings on Seagull Joe just a few months before Smash Ultimate is released.

“We have been looking into aquiring a smash player with the upcoming launch of ultimate and are excited to finally announce the our newest player is seagull joe” -Demise COO Andy minitara

With so much being announced and added to the newest Smash many believe that the rankings will be shaken up. This also comes off the heels of tournament favorites Zero and Armada recently stepping away from the professional scene.

Raucher has made it clear that is he wanting to grow and really make moves up the ladder.

“i’m looking forward to joining demise as i feel they have the ability to allow me to advance as a player and spread my wings across new horizons. opportunity awaits” -Seagull joe

Raucher should have plenty of new opportunities with Demise and with Smash Ultimate coming out. Look for him to make waves in the first Ultimate tournaments later this year and early 2019.
