Deadlock Fight Night #24 is not happening as usual this week, reportedly due to multiple teams disbanding and/or undergoing significant restructures. This comes partially as a rumor, but one that has been discussed among Deadlock streamers and community members who have been discussing some major shakeups in the high-level Deadlock scene.
The teams that are rumored to be affected by the change are partially unclear at the moment, but community sentiment suggests that 1Win Team in EU has had some significant shakups. In North America, the newly named Crayon Eaters (formerly Hydra Nation) could also be making additional moves after last week’s disappointing loss to Melee Creeps.
According to Jason Kaplan, a caster and host of DFN, in the Deadlock Fight Night discord server, “We had the talent for the show but not the teams.”
Other than that and the following post from the DFN account on X claiming the postponement was for “logistical concerns,” there was no official communication on why the match this week didn’t happen as usual.
Deadlock streamers like Eido have commented on the situation as well, as he was speculating that 1Win Team has disbanded and that Virtus.Pro could be the only full EU team left unharmed, although he discussed that Parivision could also still be intact.

Much remains unclear right now concerning the future of Deadlock’s grassroots esports scene, and the same could very easily be said about the game’s state overall.
