Raymond “Wiggily” Griffin signs through 2021 with CLG

Counter Logic Gaming announced June 27, 2019, that Wiggily re-signed with the League of Legends team for two more years. Joining CLG May, 2018, this contract extension pushes the pro jungler to 2021. CLG kept Wiggily as the LCS starter in 2019, finishing seventh in spring and currently tied for second in summer.

Wiggily has been in North America’’s pro scene for a few years now, getting his start on Big God Jackals in Spring 2017. After one split of Challenger Series, Wiggily moved to Tempo Storm. Once franchising hit in 2018, Cloud9 Academy picked him up for Spring Split, followed by CLG Academy that Summer Split. Wiggily subbed into the LCS team for Reignover in Summer Split 2018, where the team finished eighth place.

The Global Contract Database has not updated to reflect this extension. Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage, Trevor “Stixxay” Hayes, Kevin “FallenBandit” Wu, Jean-Sébastien “Tuesday” Thery and Osama “Auto” Alkhalaileh show contracts expiring in November 2019. Kim “Ruin” Hyeong-min, Vincent “Biofrost” Wang, Galen “Moon” Holgate and Colin “Call Lin” Ting Hin Wong expire in 2020, and Coach Weldon “Weldon” Green in 2021.
