On June 19 at 11 am PDT, the Florida Mayhem announced the signing of three former Armament players: Yong-joon “DPI” Choi, Beom-jun “Gargoyle” Lee and San-ha “Karayan” Choi. These three players look to improve a Florida Mayhem roster who currently sit last in the season standings at 1-15 overall. The Mayhem announced the singing via Twitter:

Proven Synergy
These three players have established synergy through their time together at Armament, a Korean Contenders team. Armament is a team that’s been in and out of Korean Contenders for several seasons now but always seem to be able to qualify out of Trials when they need to.
Regardless of the team’s overall success, each of these players has been with them since October of 2018 and should have some quality on-stage experience together as a result. Based on their time with Armament, fans can expect to see Gargoyle at offtank, DPI as a D.Va and DPS flex and Karayan in at main tank.
More Moves Coming?
With the recent acquisition of Valiant’s former main tank Pan-seung “Fate” Koo, Florida may look to rotate the two main tanks between matches, similar to how the Seoul Dynasty have begun to build their roster. There’s also reason to speculate more coming moves from the Mayhem, who look to be amid one of the larger rebuilds the league has seen so far. The Game Haus will continue to provide any updates as they occur.
