There had been plenty of teasers for Kiriko in the past including a map. There was even a leak just about a week ago. Now this has been confirmed just a few weeks before Overwatch 2’s launch, here is what is known about Overwatch Kiriko, including who the Kiriko Voice Actor is.

The idea of a fox-related hero has been around for a while but was not a known character in the Overwatch Universe. She, at least at this point, does not have any known connections. Also, Jeff Kaplan himself said that they did plan on adding her to the game but that it would be a while until she was seen. To many, this likely meant Overwatch 2.

As for the Kiriko Voice Actor, her name is Sally Amaki. According to her bio she is a Japanese Pop Singer while also an anime voice actor. Her biggest role was in 22/7 while she was also in an episode of Fate/Grand Order – Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia. She is clearly someone who fits what Overwatch would be looking for though as she is fluent in both Japanese and English.

Kiriko is the first character of the new additions to not be completely connected to any of the other characters. She is young and was likely not a part of the original Overwatch team. This will add many different complexities in story mode. How will the Overwatch team find her? Who will be the one to recruit her? There are so many questions about this new hero. There is no doubt that she will be very popular for players when she arrives with Overwatch 2.
