After the rocky launch of Overwatch 2 Blizzard apologizes to gamers by giving them various gifts. One of those gifts is an Overwatch 2 Double XP Weekend. Here is when the Double XP Weekend begins.

This Double XP weekend will not be the only thing players will be able to receive to compensate for such a rocky launch.
If players log in between October 25 to the end of season one they will be able to receive the “Cursed Captain Reaper” Legendary skin. In addition to the legendary Reaper skin players can also earn the “Health Pack” Weapon Charm.
Within the first week of launch Overwatch 2 suffered several errors, bugs, and crashes due to the DDoS attacks and server issues. Since the launch of the game, Blizzard has claimed to largely stabilize the game overall, and made a lot of progress in fixing or improving issues players may have been facing.
