By now, most Overwatch gamers already know about the upcoming musical artist collaboration coming soon in-game with the K-Pop group, Le Sserafim. The collab is said to feature a Le Sserafim-inspired game mode and exclusive in-game items, including Legendary hero skins. While the kind of game modes included are still uncertain, it’s possible that the Le Sserafim Overwatch 2 skins have been revealed early.
In the most recent teaser shown off for the collaboration players see Overwatch 2 characters Brigitte, DVa, Sombra, Kiriko, and Tracer all wearing never-before-seen outfits. While it hasn’t been officially confirmed by Blizzard fans have begun to speculate that these outfits worn by the characters in the trailer will be the exclusive legendary skins during the event.
The reason for the collab is to promote the group’s newest upcoming single “Perfect Night.” Members of the K-Pop group consist of Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae. The music itself video will premiere on Thursday, October 26 at 9 pm PDT. Le Sserafim will be closing out BlizzCon on November 4. As mentioned previously, Aside from the character skins, there will be a Le Sserafim-inspired game mode and exclusive in-game items. More details will be given out by Blizzard come Monday, October 30. The actual event itself will launch in-game on November 1.
In the past, Blizzard has done collaborations with One-Punch Man, Diablo, and even had a small LEGO crossover. This will be Overwatch 2’s first in-game music collab. With collaborations such as this one gamers begin to speculate what new crossover opportunities have opened.
